View Full Version : Menyer fra Royal Silk Class Thai Airways

Har en kamerat som stadig er ute og flyr litt. Denne gangen har han vært på Filippinene, og da han vet hvor flygæern jeg er, tør han aldri komme hjem uten menyene for turene.

Alt ha kunne lire av seg var at det var en grei og behagelig tur. Thai's 744 mellom CPH og BKK/retur hadde de nye typene Silk Air stoler. Dvs slike som kan legges flate. De var visst ytterst behagelig kunne han fortelle.

Velvel! Her kommer menyene, da på engelsk som jeg regner med går bra for de fleste:

20 juni: CPH - BKK TG951 B744 (Det fremgår forøvrig av menyen at denne brukes både i juni og desember!)

First serving:
Thai Hot Savoury Deep fried shrimp cake with corn cucumber relish sauce

First course:
Gravad Laks, Potato Salad Ruccola, Red and Yellow pepper terrine, creamed horseraddish.

Salad: Mixed salad with italian Tiziano dressing

Main course:
Beef fillet steak, red wine sauce, potato wedges with butter and rosemary. Baby carrot and french beans.
or
Fried scampi, oriental sauce, chinese egg noodles in soya sauce, stir fried mixed peppers and shiitake mushrooms.
or
Chicken curry "Pa-naeng" (with peanuts), steamed thai hom mali rice, fried chinese sausage, stir fried vegetables.
or
Fried salmon, saffron sauce, black pasta, sauteed red and green peppers.

Bread selection: Rosette roll, garlic bread, three corn roll, butter

Assorted chese tray and dried fruit/Crackers and fresh fruit

Dessert: Chocolate Cherry Mousse cake
Tea, coffe, espresso, cappuchino.

Beef salad thai style, salmon Wellington

Main course:
Steamed prawn and US Scallopp with soya sauce, egg fried rice, vegetables

Eel Kabayaki, steamed japanese rice with egg julienne and seaweed nori, pickled vegetables
or
Fillet beef steak with mushroom sauce rissole potato and vegetables
or
Chicken curry "Pa-naeng" (with peanuts), steamed thai hom mali rice, sauteed taiwanese cabbage with oyster sauce.

Dessert: Marble chocolate mousse with red cherries and angelica stick.

First course: Snapper Wellington, smoked ham, papayaand melon, snapper fish roulade, jelly aspic, balsamic dressing with mayonaise.

Main Course:
Broiled Tournedos steak with teriyaki sauce, japanese rice with black sesame seeds, vegetables.
or
Grilled salmon fillet with tomato oregano sauce, toast linguine, carrot, sauteed zucchini.
or
Roast Duck in red curry with pinapple and red chilli, rice, french bean.
or
Stir fried prawns with black pepper oriental fried rice, mixed vegetables

Green tea cake

Bangkok - Copenhagen, Juli, TG 950 avg 0120
First serving:
First course: Carpaccio of marinated salmon with chervil, capers and fresh cream

Main Course:
Sauteed prawns with chinese red sauce, oriental fried rice, mixed vegetables thai style
or
Pan-fried australian veal loin, rice onion sauce, pumpkin gnocchi, gratinated asparagus
or
Duck stew in red wine sauce, linguine noodles, carrot and french bean
or
Pan-fried tab tim fish with thai herb sauce, rice and sauteed vegetables.

Soy bean roll, focaccia bread roll, laugen roll with sesame, french garlic bread, butter, crackers.

Dessert: Assorted mini thai sweet, mini cake and tartelet

I juli hadde de fått nye hvitviner på kartet, nemlig:
Santa Helena Chardonnay 2002
W Gisselbrecht Rieseling Schiste 2002.

Ellers var drikkevarene de samme.

Det er min favorittside på nettet!! Går man inn på Braathens og ser bilde nr 10, så representerer det dessverre noe av det tristeste vi har på matbordet i Norge - lys lapskaus (hvem liker dèt?), et grovt rundstykke, tørre Korni flatbrød og Brelett (ikke en gang skikkelig smør!..) Til dessert er det rips (det er suuurt!) og vanlijesaus. Kommentaren er nok typisk dersom en stakkars utlending forviller seg på Tromsø-Oslo:

"Comments: "Hmmm, perhaps Lancashire hotpot? We have absolutely no idea what we ate!":lol:

Jeg hadde en del flygninger mellom nord-sør på den tiden(2002). Alltid like skuffende å få den lapskausen....(men dog bedre en dagens kjøpeutvalg!!!)

Jeg har alltid tatt med meg menyer fra flightene. Ingen som har protestert på det.
Lounger har jeg vel knapt sett noen meny fra, men det har de vel i noen F lounger rundt forbi.
