Delta Airlines dedicated a brand new Boeing 737-900ER to the City of Seattle on Thursday. The airplane, adorned with a “Spirit of Seattle” sticker on the nose, is the capstone in Delta’s (DL) crusade to capture Seattle.
Officially, the airplane celebrates Delta’s 80 years of service in Seattle and the investment of $14 million worth of improvements to their SeaTac operations (some of which we detailed here).
