Broadband Internet access will be made available to passengers of local airline firm All Nippon Airways Co (ANA) from 15 November 2004. The service will make its debut on ANA Boeing 777-200ER flying between China's Shanghai and Tokyo. Passengers will be charged US$ 7.95 for the first half hour and US$ 0.25 for each extra minute. Alternatively, passengers can pay US$ 19.95 for unrestricted access. Passengers on all class will be able to buy the service. ANA will be the first airline firm to offer such service in Asia. The service will be extended to other routes to the US and Europe.
