Is this a modified B732, the "thing" behind the front wheel, I think I've heard about it before, is it so the plane can land/take off on gravel?/Er dette en modifisert B732, tingen bak fronthjulet, tror jeg har lest om det før, er det sånn at flyet kan lande/ta av på grus?
Yes, it's got a socalled 'gravel kit', just like Busy Bee's LN-NPB had. Good catch! Still good for a few more years probably - VIP aircraft typically have low number of cycles.
Apparantly this A/C does not have the full kit, as far as I can see it does not have the vortex dissipators on the engine inlets.
But what a sight! Bringing back good memories of working on the "Jurassic" 737.. :wow:
And as LN-MOW says, it has probably lots of life left being a government operated Aircraft. As far as I know it has been with the same operator since new, from 1978. (737-2N9C c/n 21499 l/n 513, f/f 24.03.1978).
